Paula M. L. Moya is the author of Learning From Experience: Minority Identities, Multicultural Struggles (University of California Press, 2002) and co-editor (with Michael Hames-García) of Reclaiming Identity: Realist Theory and the Predicament of Postmodernism (University of California Press, 2000). She has published essays in journals such as Signs: A Journal of Women and Culture in Society, Nepantla: Views from the South, Modern Fiction Studies, and American Literary History.

Alex Woloch is the author of The One vs. the Many: Minor Characters and the Space of the Protagonist in the Novel (Princeton University Press, 2003) and co-editor (with Peter Brooks) of Whose Freud?: The Place of Psychoanalysis in Contemporary Culture (Yale University Press, 2000).
